120 jobs on offer at recruitment event
Banbridge’s Belmont Estate Hotel is to play host to a recruitment event on Friday 20th November between 11:00am and 6:00pm.
The event will take place in the Belmont Estate Hotel, Rathfriland Road, Banbridge and has been organised by the Department for Employment and Learning (DEL).
Over 120 jobs will be on offer, including full and part time opportunities for floor, bar and security staff, along with a number of supervisory positions.
Speaking ahead of the event, Jan Jones, Manager of Banbridge Jobs and Benefits office in DEL’s Employment Service, said, “This event brings a local employer, support organisations and jobseekers together under one roof.
“A range of support organisations, including DEL’s Careers Service and Employment Service, will also be present to provide individuals with information, advice and guidance on seeking employment and a range of training and employment schemes.”
The event will offer local job opportunities, careers guidance, and advice on training and jobsearch skills.
Amy Shannon from the Belmont Estate Hotel said, “The jobs available include full-time/part-time and seasonal positions across a range of hospitality roles including front of house. This event gives us the opportunity to interact with potential applicants and allows our recruitment to be more effective.
“This event demonstrates that DEL are working in partnership with local employers to help jobseekers find the most appropriate route into employment and employers recruit a skilled work force,” she added.
