Newry police investigate van theft

Police in Newry are appealing for information after tools were stolen from a van. psni13Sometime between 7am and 6pm on Wednesday, 4th November, entry was gained to a white Citroen Relay van, parked at Sheepbridge Park and Ride. A welder and two drills were stolen. Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Niamh Mulholland said, “This is a very busy car park and we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity during these times or anyone who has information that may assist our investigation. We can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 995 041115.” She added, “If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
