First meeting of the Supply Chain Forum welcomed

Sinn Féin South Down MLA Caitríona Ruane expressed her support for a new measure aimed at boosting our Agri Food industry.

“The Supply Chain Forum is designed to maximise the potential of the Agri Food industry by ensuring fair trading conditions between farmers, producers and retailers,” Ruane said.

“This is an excellent initiative by DARD Minister Michelle O’Neill that will encourage fair prices for farmers, fishermen and women and indeed all who are involved in the Agri Food sector across the North.”
