Speaking to Newry Times, she said, “Over the summer months I have received numerous complaints from constituents and visitors about cars blocking all three disabled access points along Warrenpoint promenade. “This is causing great difficulty to wheelchair users and families with young children in pushchairs. “Unfortunately it is apparent that we cannot rely on the consideration of some motorists. Their thoughtlessness is shameful. McKevitt added, “I am pleased to confirm that after making a formal request to Transport NI the access points will be marked as no parking zones.”
