Get involved with Broadband Connection Vouchers Scheme
Sinn Fein councillor Terry Hearty is advising local businesses to get involved with the Broadband Connection Vouchers Scheme.
The Slieve Gullion representative said businesses in the area should make use of all the help they can get.
“The scheme will allow local SMEs to claim grants of up to £3000 for the installation of superfast broadband,” he said.
“At a time when local businesses are struggling they need all the help they can get and having access to broadband is a great way to improve and grow your business.
“There will be information sessions on the scheme and how to best utilise broadband to improve your business held across the district later this month. The council is holding them and they’ll coming to the Community Centre in Crossmaglen at 9.30am on Tuesday, September 22nd.
“I’d encourage any business or social enterprise owners to get involved with this scheme and see what it can do for you. To find out more call Martin Patterson on 0300 013 2233 or email connectionvouchers@nmandd.org.”
