Investigation launched after Newry burglary

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a construction site in the Heslips Court area of Newry that occurred sometime overnight between the evening of Monday 24th August and the morning of Tuesday 25th August. psni14Two power saws and two vibrating whacker plates were stolen. Speaking to Newry Times, Inspector Jacqui Gillespie said, “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact Ardmore Police Station on the non emergency number 101. “Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
