Police make fraud arrest after Newry search
Detectives from Reactive and Organised Crime have arrested a man in Newry in relation to fraud offences.
The PSNI, in conjunction with the Food Standards Agency and the Northern Ireland Environment Agency, conducted searches of premises on Derrybeg Lane.
Two 40ft trailers and a large quantity of bottled drinks were seized.
A 54 year old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of articles to commit fraud, making or supplying articles to commit fraud and offences under the waste and contaminated land act.
He was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
