Citroen C5 taken in Newry burglary

Police in Ardmore are appealing for information following the report of a creeper burglary in the Jacks Road area of Newry on Saturday, 22nd August.

burglary5Some time between 1am and 8am, a number of unknown persons smashed the rear door window panel and entered a residential property.

A set of car keys were taken and used to drive away a dark blue Citroen C5 from the premises.

Speaking of the incident, Constable Heidi Middleton said, “I would appeal to anyone who may have seen a dark blue Citroen C5 in the area between 1am and 8am, to contact Police at Ardmore on the non-emergency number 101.

“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
