Harvey McCabe Memorial Walk in Bessbrook a success

Sinn Féin Councillor Roisin Mulgrew has commended all those who helped make the Harvey McCabe Memorial Walk in Bessbrook such a success.

All proceeds from the walk will go to the Children’s Ward in Daisy Hill Hospital.

“This was a terrific event and as usual it was a pleasure to take part in,” she said.

“The McCabe family have done an incredible job in taking such a devastating personal tragedy and turning it into something positive that really helps people.

“The event was also supported and facilitated by the Bessbrook Residents Association and the Camlough Community Association and as always they were happy to help.

Mulgrew added, “Well done to all involved and I’ve no doubt the Children’s Ward will be very grateful for the donation.”
