Home Start Newry & Mourne receives Bronze Award

Employers and organizations across Northern Ireland are being urged to show their support for victims of domestic violence by signing up to a major new programme

developed by ONUS, a social economy business that gift aids its profits to Women’s Aid, the Workplace Charter on Domestic Violence provides businesses with essential advice and practical training to help and support staff suffering from domestic violence. Home Start Newry & Mourne recently received their Bronze Award in the Work Place Charter on Domestic Violence and hope to work towards their Silver and Gold Award. Home Start are currently recruiting for volunteers and if you have 2-3 hours per week and would like to support a family in your area, please call Newry on 302 66139 or Kilkeel 417 64120. Preparation Training starts in September.
