Cyclist injured following lorry collision
Police in Newry are appealing for information following a road traffic collision.
At around 10.50pm on Friday, 3rd July a passerby came across a male cyclist who had sustained injuries following a collision with a lorry on the A1 between Newry and Banbridge.
The 21 year old cyclist sustained injuries to his leg which required medical treatment.
Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Stephen Cunningham stated, “We are asking the driver of the lorry involved to contact us. We would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or has information that may assist our investigation. We can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 1408 030715.”
