25 year old man sustains head injury after Newry assault

Police in Newry are appealing for information following an assault in Monaghan Street, Newry.

The incident happened on Monaghan Street in Newry

At around 2am on Monday, 8th June, a 25 year old male was involved in a fight. He sustained an injury to his head. Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Philip Kelly said, “We are keen to speak to a male who was in the area around this time wearing a purple hoody or anyone who witnessed this incident. “We can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 81 080615.”
