Police probe Newry post box theft

Police in Newry are appealing for information following a theft of a post box. psni21At around 3.20am on Sunday, 24th May a post box, described as a ‘lamp box’ was taken from outside a shop at Shandon Park, Newry. It was cut from its mounting by an angle grinder. Three males, travelling in a saloon car were seen in the area around this time. Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Mark McCartan said, “We would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident.
