Police in Crossmaglen are reminding motorists to be mindful of parking restrictions and the safety of others when parking in the town. psni13Constable Kieran Gourley explained to Newry Times, “We have received a number of complaints from residents in Crossmaglen about parking and we will be conducting patrols over the coming weeks to ensure that parking restrictions are adhered to. “The complaints we are receiving generally relate to cars being parked on or too close to junctions and cars causing an obstruction when parked on roads. He added, “We are asking all motorists to use the public parking facilities available in the town. Please do not park in a position where you may find yourself receiving a fixed penalty notice.”
