Witnesses sought after Newry tyre slashing incident

Police in Newry are appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage. psni15Sometime between 9pm on Saturday, 2nd May and 2pm on Sunday, 3rd May, two tyres of a Vauxhall Meriva, parked in James Connolly Park, were slashed. Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Garry Young said, “We would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident and can be contacted on 101, quoting ref: 788 030515.” If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
