Attempted car theft in Newry car park

Police in Newry are appealing for information after an attempt was made to steal a car. psni21Sometime between 10am and 6.30pm on Thursday, 23rd April, a blue Fiat Seicento, parked in North Street car park, was damaged. The driver’s window was smashed and damage caused to the steering wheel in an attempt to steal the vehicle. Speaking to Newry Times, Constable McGranaghan said, “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or has information which may assist our investigation.
