Call for witnesses after Newry burglary

Police in Newry are appealing for information following a burglary. burglarySometime between 6pm on Friday, 27th March and 8.30am on Monday, 30th March, a house on Lower Carrogs Road was entered. A number of items were stolen including solid wooden flooring, 16 internal wooden doors (white gloss finish, six panelled), kitchen units, work tops and unit doors. All these items were brand new and still in their packaging. Constable Peter Elliott told Newry Times, “We would like to hear from anyone who noticed any vehicles or people around this area during this time or anyone who has information about the whereabouts of the stolen items. “We can be contacted in Newry on 101, quoting ref: 842 300315. If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
