Ó Muirí requests Translink meeting over ‘shambolic’ South Armagh service

Sinn Fein councillor Barra Ó Muirí has written to Translink requesting a meeting with them as soon as possible to address what he described as ‘the shambolic service’ in south Armagh.

“I’ve been inundated in the last few weeks with calls from parents whose children haven’t been collected for school in Tullydonnell,” he said.

“As recently as yesterday I was contacted by an irate parent whose child was due to sit a module for part of an A Level that morning. Again, the number 42 Tullydonnell bus did not arrive.

He added, “This is unacceptable and I will be urging Translink to work with the community to address these gaps in their service and to help provide a better, more reliable service; one befitting of the fine people of South Armagh.”
