Cash and mobile phones taken in theft

Local police are appealing for information following a theft.

On Tuesday evening, 24th March, a sum of cash and two mobile phones were stolen from a church hall on Greencastle Street during a function.

Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Paul Bloomer explained, “We would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident. We can be contacted in Kilkeel on 101, quoting ref: 1140 240315.”
