Excitement builds for ‘Legacy Concert’ in Newry
The countdown has begun to the eagerly awaited Legacy Concert on Sunday 29th March to mark the historic end of the current Newry & Mourne District Council.
The free open-air concert will commence at 3:00pm outside Newry Town Hall and will feature a number of high class performers including: HomeTown, Derek Ryan, The High Kings, Michelle Magee, The HouseM8s and The Professionals.
UTV’s Paul Clarke will act as compere. There will be a range of Children’s on-street entertainment.
In the best interest of all spectators on the evening Newry & Mourne District Council’s events committee would like to advise people attending the concert of the following important information.
TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT:
Traffic restrictions will be in operation from 1.00pm on Sunday 29th March 2015. Kildare Street, Hill Street and The Mall will be closed to traffic until 8:00pm that evening.

CHILD PROTECTION: Any children under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times. In the event of a missing child please report to the nearest security / steward in Yellow Bibs who will deal with the situation immediately.
STEWARDS: In the interest of safety for everyone attending the concert you are requested to cooperate with security personnel / event stewards at all times.
WEATHER CONDITIONS: Remember to wrap up warm.
TICKETS: FREE CONCERT NO tickets required.
