Witnesses sought after Newry car set alight

Police in Newry are appealing for information after a car was set alight. Police received a report of a car on fire on North Street around 7.42am on Thursday, 1st January. NIFRS attended and extinguished the fire. Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Shelley Kearney said, “We are treating this fire as suspicious and would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident.
