Houses ransacked in Warrenpoint burglaries

Police in South Down are appealing for information following two burglaries in Warrenpoint.

On Thursday evening, 11th December, a flat in Rostrevor Road and house in Well Road were burgled.

Entry was forced to both properties and the dwellings were ransacked.

Speaking to Newry Times, Con Paul Bloomer explained, “We believe the flat in Rostrevor Road was entered between 7.30pm and 8.15pm and that the house in Well Road was entered between 5.45pm and 9pm.

“We would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to either of these incidents. We can be contacted in Warrenpoint on 101.”
