Newry’s mini rugby stars shine at Kingspan Stadium
The Newry RFC U12 mini rugby team played at Kingspan Stadium recently as part of the half time entertainment during the Ulster v Scarlets match.
At each Ulster Rugby fixture at Kingspan Stadium, mini rugby teams from across the Province are invited to participate in ‘Centra Half Time’.
The European Champions Cup match against the Welsh side provided Newry minis with the opportunity to play on the famous pitch in front of over 16,000 fans.
They also got the chance to meet Ulster Rugby players Ruaidhri Murphy, Iain Henderson and Paddy Jackson, as well as everyone’s favourite mascot Sparky.
