Newry police uncover drugs during search

Police in Newry have reported a 25 year old man to the PPS for drugs offences.

Officers were on patrol in the Edward Street area on Wednesday night, 19th November, when they observed a male acting suspiciously.

Officers stopped the man and recovered a small amount of herbal cannabis from him during a search.

The man has been reported to the PPS.
