Welcoming today’s sentencing, Investigating Officer, Detective Constable Andrea Ewart told Newry Times, “Following a complicated and time consuming investigation, I am pleased that the two men responsible for a trail of crime across the country have been stopped and brought to justice. “I have worked closely with staff from the four banks affected in order to secure best evidence and, ultimately, a successful outcome to this case.”
