Information sought after spate of Rostrevor burglaries
Police in Warrenpoint are appealing for information after a report of burglary at residential premises at the Killowen Old Road, Rostrevor area.
Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Megan Hillen said, “Sometime between Monday 2nd September and Friday 26th September, it was reported that a number of personal hygiene items were taken from a house in the area.
“A sum of cash was also believed to have been taken during the incident.
“Police are investigating a similar incident at the Killowen Old Road area, Rostrevor when a house was ransacked and a caravan was entered.
She added, “At this stage, police are investigating a link between both incidents and enquiries are continuing.”
