The USPCA are appealing for help from the local community after this dog (pictured right) was brought to the USPCA Animal Hospital today from the Ballyholland area of Newry by a concerned member of the public.

The USPCA are appealing for help in identifying a possible owner for this animal.

This Dog was presented to the USPCA in a terribly neglected state and the USPCA Vets were shocked at its condition.

The dog has been diagnosed with an apparent choric skin condition and this animal faces a long road to recovery.

The USPCA are worried that there may be more animals in a similar condition to this one. They believe the breed to be a west highland terrier.
