Taylor welcomes Newry jobs announcement

Ulster Unionist Representative Councillor David Taylor has welcomed an announcement by Autoline Insurance Group that it is creating 60 new jobs.

Councillor Taylor said the announcement by the major Northern Ireland Insurance Brokers, which bases its headquarters in Newry, was fantastic news for the local economy. Taylor stated that the creation of the new jobs, the majority of which will be based primarily at the company’s headquarters in Newry was a significant boost to the City and would serve to instil further confidence in the Northern Ireland economy which is beginning to show signs of slight growth. Councillor Taylor also expressed his appreciation and congratulations to Invest NI for their role in providing an employment grant contribution of £390,000 which he outlined had undoubtedly ensured that this jobs announcement has been able to come to fruition.
