Wallet and jewellry taken in burglary

Police in Warrenpoint are appealing for information after a report of burglary at residential premises at the Finlieve Place, Kilkeel area.

Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Moffett said, “Sometime between Wednesday 17th September and Monday 22nd September, it was reported that a wallet and a quantity of jewellery were stolen from a house in the area. Enquiries are continuing.

“Police would appeal to anyone with any information to contact them at Warrenpoint on the non emergency number 101 quoting reference 561220914.

He added, “Or, if someone would prefer to provide their information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
