Cash taken in Newry burglary

Police in Newry are appealing for information after a report of burglary at a house in the Ardgreen Drive area. Speaking to Newry Times, Constable Middleton said, “Sometime between 9:30pm on Wednesday 24th September and 7:30am on Thursday 25th September, it was reported that entry was gained at the rear of the property. “A sum of money was taken during the incident. Enquiries are continuing. Officers in Ardmore Police Station can be contacted on the 101 non-emergency number and anyone with any information should quote reference 190250914. “If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
