Community, Sport, What's On
The Annual Tow Path Cycle in Newry is almost upon us, with the fundraising recipients being Headway, Newry. Headway, Newry aim to improve the quality of life for people with brain injury, their carers and their families. Their vision is that persons living with a brain injury are supported to lead fulfilling and satisfying lifestyles. Every carer has opportunities for support and respite care and access to information and advice. The wider public have an understanding of the challenges faced by people with brain injury and their carers. There will be two cycle routes. First is a 40 mile route from Newry to Portadown and back to Newry again. The second route is Newry to Scarva and back to Newry again and there will be refreshments at Scarva. The cost is £10 per cyclist and for more information contact Sheila Quinn on 028 3083 3728 or email info@headwaynewry.org or visit www.headwaynewry.org.”
