Man, 49, charged with arson after Newry incident

A 49 year old man has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life.

It is believed that the charge is in relation to an arson at residential premises in St Marys Street, Newry, on the evening of Thursday 30th January.

He is due to appear at Newry Magistrates Court on the morning of Wednesday 30th April.

As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the PPS.
