Warrenpoint police call for hit and run witnesses

Police in Warrenpoint are appealing for information following a damage only hit and run road traffic incident at the Rooney Road area on Tuesday 18th March

Sometime between 10:30am and 11:15am, it was reported that a dark coloured Toyota Corolla was parked in the area facing the direction of the Harbour.

It is believed that the vehicle had damage caused to the driver side wing mirror, front bumper and front headlight. Enquiries are continuing.

Police would ask anyone who witnessed this collision or who has any information which may be of assitance to their investigation to contact them in Warrenpoint on 0845 600 8000 quoting reference 898190314.

Information can also be passed anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
