Police ask for help to locate missing Newry pensioner

Police investigating long term missing person Hugh Toner are renewing their appeal for information following the 20th anniversary of his disappearance.

Hugh went missing 20 years ago

Hugh, from Hawthorne Lane, Dublin Road, Newry would now be 76 years old and went missing from Craigavon Area Hospital on 7th February 1994.

Hugh is of slim build, blue eyes, grey hair and has a grey complexion. Despite extensive enquiries being carried out at the time of Hugh’s disappearance his whereabouts remain unknown.

With the 20th anniversary of his disappearance police and his family are renewing their appeal for information or indeed for Hugh to contact them to let them know he is alive and well.

Police at Lurgan are appealing for anyone who believes they may have information about Hugh, his disappearance or his whereabouts to come forward. Police can be contacted on 0845 600 8000.
