Newry car theft prompts police investigation

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the theft of guitars from a car on Armagh Road.

Some time between 8pm and 8.30pm on Friday, 7th February, the rear passenger window of a black BMW car was smashed and three guitars taken and the alarm in the car was activated.

The guitars are: a Gibson SJ200 (6 string) guitar in a case; a Guild F512 (12 string) guitar in a case; and a Martin D28 (6 string) guitar in a case.

Police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to the theft or whereabouts of the guitars to contact them in Newry on 0845 600 8000.
