Newry PSNI call for witnesses after car hits building

Police in Newry are appealing for information following an incident in the Merchant’s Quay area on Friday 27th December. At around 8.25pm a dark coloured saloon car was observed skidding through the junction of Merchant’s Quay and Sugar Island. The car mounted the pavement and struck the front of a nearby building before speeding off in the direction of Trevor Hill. Police would ask anyone who witnessed this incident and who may be able to assist them with their enquiries to contact them in Ardmore on 0845 600 8000.
