‘Without Consent It’s Rape’ presentation to Newry girl’s schools

Newry Neighbourhood Policing Team are helping young females to keep safe. The NPT came together with the local Rape Crime Unit, Crime Prevention and Newry and Mourne Policing and Community Safety Partnership recently to deliver a presentation on female safety at Sacred Heart Grammar School. Senior pupils from Sacred Heart Grammar School, St Mary’s High School, St Mark’s High School and Our Lady’s Grammar School attended. Presentations explained the laws around rape, namely ‘Without Consent It’s Rape’ and advice on personal safety. The event ended with a question and answer session and feedback from the pupils was positive. Caption: Pupils from schools across Newry and Mourne with faciliators at the recent Female Safety Event.
