Police seek Newry gang after attack on 14 year old boy

Police in Banbridge are appealing for witnesses to an assault in the Huntly Road area on Friday 20th November.

It was reported to police that at around 4pm as a 14 year old boy walked alone at River Walk he was punched in the face by a male who was one of a large group of male and female youths who were gathered in the area.

The boy suffered bruising as a result of this assault. Police believe some of the youths involved in the attack may have been from the Newry area.

Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have information to assist them with their enquiries to contact officers in Banbridge on 0845 600 8000.
