Man, 46, arrested after Newry police uncover 40 cannabis plants

Police in Newry have uncovered a cannabis factory during a search of a property in Edward Street. Officers from the local Tactical Crime Team conducted a search under the Misuse of Drugs Act on Tuesday morning, 3rd December. Police recovered 40 cannabis plants in an outside shed. A 46 year old male was later arrested and subsequently released on bail pending further enquiries.
