Police in Newry are appealing for information following the report of the theft from a van which had been parked in the Damolly Retail Park on Thursday 14th November. Sometime between 3pm and 3.30pm the red coloured van was broken into and an amount of carpentry tools taken. Police would ask anyone with any information or who has been offered carpenter’s tools for sale recently to contact them in Newry on 0845 600 8000. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111
