Police investigate Drumintee hit and run

Police in Newry are appealing for information following a road traffic collision on the Dernaroy Road in Drumintee. Between 6.30pm and 7pm on Friday, 11th October, a black Volkswagen Golf car was in collision with a 27 year old male pedestrian who was walking along the Dernaroy Road. The male fell onto a grass verge and sustained a fracture to his leg which required medical treatment. The Golf did not stop and police are appealing to the driver or anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them in Newry on 0845 600 8000.
