Belfast Road attempted burglary sparks police investigation

Police in Newry are appealing for information following an attempted burglary on the Belfast Road. Some time between 1.30pm and 3.30pm on Wednesday, 9th October, an attempt was made to gain entry to a house. The lock of the door was prised off and damage was caused to the door. Entry was not gained to the house. Police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to this incident to contact them in Newry on 0845 600 8000.
