Warrenpoint dual carriageway car thefts prompt police investigation

Police in Warrenpoint are appealing for information following the report of damage and theft from vehicles parked on the hard shoulder of the Warrenpoint dual carriageway near a disused quarry at Narrow Water on Saturday 14th September.

Sometime between 5pm and 5.40pm three vehicles, an Audi A6, a Vauxhall Astra and a Peugeot 206 had windows smashed with two of the cars having items taken from them.

Police would ask anyone who was in the area and who may have noticed any suspicious activity to contact them in Warrenpoint on 0845 600 8000.

Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111
