Magic and music at Newry Museum for Culture Night 2013

Culture Night comes to Newry for the first time on the 20th of September 2013 and Newry and Mourne Museum will be taking part in the festivities. The Museum will be open to the public from 6pm – 8pm on Friday September 20th so you can see the history and culture of the region on display. There will also be very special guests, Emer Kenny and Gavin Murphy, who will be on hand to entertain you for the evening. Internationally renowned and critically acclaimed harpist and singer Emer Kenny will be in the Museum’s Banqueting Room performing a selection of ‘music throughout the ages’ from her wide ranging repertoire. ‘Victorian’ magician Gavin Murphy will enthrall visitors to the Museum with his astonishing feats, mind games and demonstrations of clairvoyance. So come along to the Museum on Friday 20th and enjoy the mix of magic and music, all free of charge.
