Police launch investigation after theft of advertising trailer

Police in Newry are appealing for information following the the theft of an advertising trailer.

Some time around the end of August/beginning of September an advertising trailer was taken from a locked and secured yard on the Armagh Road.

It is believed the trailer was taken between 5pm and 6pm in the evening. The trailer is 24 ft long and it is believed between three and six men, in high visibility jackets were involved.

Police are appealing to anyone who noticed a green jeep or white van in the area or anyone who has information in relation to the theft or whereabouts of the trailer to contact them at Ardmore Police Station on 0845 600 8000.

It is believed the green jeep or white van may have had a puncture which was changed on Armagh Road.
