Police find drugs on Newry nightclub reveller

Police in Newry have arrested a 31 year old male on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs.

Police were in attendance at a hotel on Merchants Quay during the early hours of Saturday, 31st August when they were made aware of a quantity of suspected drugs, discovered by a staff member.

A 31 year old male was subsequently arrested and later released pending further enquiries.
