The final of the Belle of South Armagh 2013 takes place this weekend on Saturday 14th September in the Carrickdale Hotel. The event- a fundraiser from Belleeks GAC – is designed to celebrate the positive history of arts, song, sports, music and culture associated with the South Armagh region. This Saturday 11 Belle’s will take to the stage with their local escorts to represent their town and some of them will even entertain the crowd with a song, a dance or playing a musical instrument. Guest MC on the night is West Tyrone MLA, author and Gaelic Football enthusiast Barry McElduff. There’ll be a special performance from the Eamon Malley School of Dance and then the Carrickdale DJ will keep the party going with music into the night.
