Police appeal for witnesses to hockey stick attack

Police in Kilkeel are appealing for information following an assault in The Square. Some time between midnight and 3am on Sunday, 18th August, a 54 year old man was assaulted by a group of four or five men with hockey sticks. The man sustained injuries to his face, head, arms and back. Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the assault or has information in relation to it to contact them in Kilkeel on 0845 600 8000.
