McKevitt congratulates local documentary makers on Emmy win

SDLP MLA for South Down and party spokesperson on Culture Arts and Leisure Karen McKevitt has congratulated local documentary makers, Below the Radar on their Emmy win.

McKevitt was delighted with the news

“I was delighted to hear that Below the Radar’s documentary ‘Mea Maxima Culpa’ which was made for HBO television has received an Emmy for Exceptional Merit in Documentary Filmmaking.

“It is a great achievement for a local company to get the international recognition that an Emmy win brings.

McKevitt added, “The documentary has already won a number of awards, but as the Emmy is the highest profile award in television I am confident that this recognition will bring even more positive attention to Below the Radar and help to showcase our local talent.”
