Is the famous Camino de Santiago on your bucket list? Or do you just fancy a new and exciting challenge?
The Southern Area Hospice is delighted to announce that they will be taking a group of lucky walkers to complete this beautiful expedition in May 2014, and places are now open.
The Camino de Santiago trail is one of the most scenic and impressive walking trails around the world which draws people from all walks of life for many different reasons.
The Way of St. James which translates in Spanish to El Camino de Santiago, is the pilgrimage route to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in northwestern Spain, where tradition has it that the remains of the apostle Saint James are buried.
This well known walking trip explores the eighth and final section of the Camino French Way from Sarria to Santiago which takes walkers through the rural villages, rolling hills and spectacular scenery of Galicia covering 115km over 6 days.
